Routine Luxury Vinyl Cleaning
As needed, sweep your floor to remove any dirt and grit. Always wipe spills promptly, and damp mop occasionally. We offer cleaning products in-store, which we may recommend depending on the vinyl brand you choose. Always avoid using detergent or soap-based cleaners, as these can dull the shine of your vinyl.
In fact, most vinyl floors feature a finish which will not require any additional buffing, shining or waxing – all of which may, in fact, harm your floor’s finish rather than clean it.
Finally, vinyl floors can be slippery when wet – so use caution when walking on them after mopping. We recommend using a dry mop after damp mopping to help dry them faster.
